British cartoon depicts Netanyahu a “bloodthirsty Jew”

January 29, 2013

Capturesatan[1]
On the eve of the Holocaust Memorial Day, the British weekly, The Sunday Times, irked the Jewish groups for posting a cartoon depicting large-nozed Benjamin Netanyahu hunched over a wall building with blood and limbs of writhing Palestinians in pain (See the cartoon on top left).

The caption beneath the cartoon said: “Israeli election: will cementing peace continue?” In my earlier post, I predicted that Netanyahu would bring a worse four-year of horor for the US and the Middle East. Read the post here.

The Jewish lobby groups immediately snapped “antisemite” title on the cartoonist, Gerald Scarfe and the weekly newspaper. The paper’s management, however, defended cartoonist’s rights under ‘freedom of press’ by saying: “This is a typical robust cartoon by Gerald Scarfe. The Sunday Times firmly believes that it’s not antisemitic. It’s aimed squarely at Netanyahu and his policies, not at Israel, let alone at Jewish people“. You can visit Gerald’s website here.

Michael Salberg, director of Israel lobby group ADL slammed the Sunday Times, by stating: “There is nothing subtle about the caricatured image of prime minister Netanyahu using Palestinians and their blood to build a wall to protect Israelis“.

Some Israel Hasbara outlets like,’HonestReporting‘, have called the revival of Europe’s old fashioned Blood Libel against some Jewish cults who kidnapped and killed Christian children for Jewish rituals. Italian Jewish historian, professor Ariel Toaff (University of Bar IIan, Tel Aviv) in his book, ‘The Bloody Passovers‘ has supported the allegations against the Jews.

Gerald Scarfe is the latest victim of Zionist propagandists who don’t see such true depictions of Israel’s Zionazi policies as anti-Israel or anti-Zionist – but as hatred toward the Jewish people. Last month, the Wiesenthal Center had put Brazilian cartoonist Carlos Latuff at third place in its annual list of top ten antisemitic slurs. The other famous victim of Zionists’ slander was Australian-born prize-winning cartoonist Pat Oliphant for depicting a Nazi-like soldier going after innocent civilian in Gaza in 2009 – published by the Jewish-owned Washington Post.

Incidently, on Friday, former French president, Crypto-Jewish Nicolas Sarkozy, during his speech at United Israel Appeal fundraising dinner in Davos – also urged the international community to apply pressure on the Zionist regime in order to establish an independent, viable and sovereign Palestinian state. “Israel has surrounded herself with walls of Jericho. It will be necessary to bring down the walls in order to save her,” reported Israeli daily Maariv.

The Sunday Times (founded in 1821) is Britain’s largest-selling national weekly paper. It’s owned by Israel-Firster billionaire Rupert Murdoch’s News International since 1981

Egypt and the Zionist Jews

January 10, 2013

Islam is an act of G-d’s mercy,” says German-born US-Israeli Jewish historian Dr. Shelomo Dov Goitein (died 1985) in book ‘Jews and Arabs’.

Jews in the near East, north Africa and Spain threw their support behind advancing Muslim Arab armies,” says Professor Merlin L. Swartz (Islamic Studies at Boston University) in book ‘The Position of Jews in Arab lands following the rise of Islam‘.

Cartoon: Netanyahu profiting politically from the Gaza deadLast month, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood topped LA-based Simon Wiesenthal Center, an Israeli Watchdog, list of ten top anti-Israel statements made in 2012. The honor went to Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie, who according to Israeli Hasbara translation organ MEMRI, in his Arabic sermon said: “The (Zionist) Jews have dominated the land, spread corruption on earth, spilled the blood of believers and in their actions profaned holy places. Zionists only understand the language of force and will not relent without duress. This will happen only through holy Jihad“. Like, Iranian president Dr. Ahmadinejad, who scored the second place on the list, Mohammed Badie, was too addressing the Zionist Jews and not the Yahud (the followers of Moses Law (Torah).

Brazilian cartoonist Carlos Latuf was third for the following cartoon showing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu squeezing votes into a ballot box out of the cadaver of a Palestinian child.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is named after Simon Wiesenthal (died 2005) known as ‘Father of Holocaust culture’. Israeli historian and journalist Dr. Tom Segev in his book ‘Simon Weisenthal: The Life and Legend’ describes Weisenthal as “a fame-seeking myth-maker and an Israeli Mossad agent“.

As if that was not enough. Dr. Essam al-Erian, an adviser to Egyptian president Dr. Mohamed Morsi and a member of ruling Freedom and Justice party has recently urged Egyptian Jews living in racist Israel to return to their ancestral Arab land. Essam promised that they will receive properties left behind. He also asserted that the more Egyptian Jews return the more Palestinian natives have chance to recover their stolen homes, businesses, farms and land. His statement irked many Egyptians and Israeli Jews, who called him traitor or antisemite. Essam al-Erian who could not stand-up domestic and foreign pressure, to great relief of Israeli media, has resigned from his post two days ago.
Essam al-Erian, like former US foreign secretary Henry Kissinger, also predicted the demise of the Zionist entity within next ten years. Interestingly, Egypt’s new so-called “Shari’h-based” Constitution Article 3 stipulates, for the first time in Egyptian constitutional history, that Jews would have the right to adjudicate their personal status cases according to Jewish Talmudic law which is practiced in the state of Israel.

On January 7, Abraham Foxman, head of Israel Jewish lobby group, ADL, in a letter to Egyptian ambassador in Washington, Mohamed M. Tawfik, expressed his satisfaction on the sacking of Essam al-Erian. “We hope that President Morsi and other Egyptian government leaders will now make it clear that the defamation of Israel and Jews has no place in the country’s national dialogue,” wrote Abbe Foxman.

Several Egyptian political analysts have called this episode another proof of Morsi’s subservience to US-Israel-Turkey axis. Cairo still maintains diplomatic relation with the Zionist regime. It also brokered a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas in November 2012. Last week Egyptian security forces claimed the capture of US-made anti-tank and surface-to-air missiles near Israel-Sinai border – destined for Gaza to be used against Israel by Islamic Resistance groups. Apparently, they were being smuggled from neighboring Libya which has stockpiles of US weaponry given to anti-Qaddafi rebels.
A 19th century Egyptian poet asked Muslims to become Jews as “Today the Jews have reached the summit of their hopes and have become aristocrats. Power and riches have they and from them councilors and princes are chosen“.

Mohamed Abul-Ghar, head of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party, in his 2004 book, Yahood Masr min AlIzdihar Ela AlShitat (Egyptian Jews from the bloom to the Diaspora), wrote that several among the country’s 75,000 Jews held high official positions, like Qattawi Pasha, who was appointed finance minister in 1925, and owned more than a third of the country’s registered companies by 1947. Jews were also prominent in arts and culture, helping to establish Egyptian cinema and publishing many cultural magazines. The 1948 Palestine War changed everything for Egyptian Jews, because the government closed the offices of the Zionist movement in Egypt and arrested many Zionist activists. In 1954 the Egyptian authorities uncovered a Jewish terrorist group which was targeting British and American facilities in order to show Egypt was unable to protect foreigners and minorities. The Israeli false flage operation known as Lavon Affair had a damaging effect on Egyptian Jews and led many to leave. Abul-Ghar claims that Jews did not leave Egypt as result of antisemitism but as result of 1949 law that abolished special privileges for foreigners. This affected Jews heavily because many of them held dual nationality.

Jews around the world gather in Egypt on January 15 to attend one-week long festival honoring birthday of Jewish saint Abu Hassira.

The great majority of Egyptian Muslims belong to Sunni sect. However, both Cairo city and the world-famous al-Azhar University were built by Fatmid Shia ( 969-1171 CE) rulers. The Agha Khan Trust for Culture built the huge al-Azhar Park in Cairo. The park was opened to public in 2005 and cost more than $30 million.

Palestine: Now What?

December 3, 2012

By Nahida the exiled Palestinian

We’ve just witnessed the warm embrace given to Palestine by the entire decent world, excluding of courses those who chose the side of evil, throwing themselves in an obscene disgrace, slaves at the feet of the “chosen”.

Such memorable event might not change much on the ground, however, one cannot dismiss its huge significance, that event is a signal indicating shifting of power worldwide.

WORLD GET READY

Palestinians did not give up before, and they have no intention to give up now. They will continue to pursue the course of JUSTICE and LIBERATION by ALL MEANS they deem necessary and appropriate.

  • FULL LIBERATION of Historic Palestine. The Holy Land must be free from atrocities committing racists. A way must be found, to bring reason to the Holy Land, and there is no other way than to evict foreign criminals.
  •  FULL SOVEREIGNTY of the Palestinian Nation over their ancestral country: Palestine, with a constitution and a political system of their own independent choice. For the sake of International Peace and Security.
  • PROSECUTION OF WAR CRIMINALS, plans of which should start immediately without delay, A Palestinian JUDICIARY and IMMIGRATION System, will respectively prosecute former “Israeli” criminals and their associates, and/or grant or decline on an individual basis, a Right to Remain, based on criteria solely to be defined by said Immigration and Integration Services. Anyone who can prove non-participation in the ex-Israeli occupation apparatus, and who has demonstrated ability and willingness to a respectable and law-abiding conduct, will probably obtain a chance to gain unrestricted Palestinian citizenship, with equal rights.
  • RETURN, RESTITUTION and COMPENSATIONS: Palestinian refugees have the unconditional Right of Return. Palestine and the Palestinian Nation at large, are entitled to full and unconditional Restitution of their land and property whenever possible, assorted with appropriate Compensation for more than seven decades of deprivation and slow genocide, Cultural destruction, and a whole array of atrocities and usurpation. .
  •  REVOKING ISRAEL’S UN MEMBERSHIP. The racist genocidal occupation entity, which was in breach of UN Charters, which has violated and defied more UN resolutions and charter principles than any other. This illegitimate entity has no moral or legal ground whatsoever to be a member of the UN. Its membership is a disgrace on the face of humanity and a mockery of International Law. Israel’s UN membership should have never happened in the first place.

    Israel’s other Occupied Territories

In light of my last article, examining the claims that a cartoon by Carlos Latuff was “almost worse that anti-Semitic”, I was interested to note how little reaction there has been, so far, to Zapiro’s recent cartoon in the South African Mail & Guardian.

Perhaps the algemeiner, which proudly boasts that it is “Labeled the fastest growing Jewish newspaper in America” and which was quick to jump on Latuff and Steve Bell for his cartoon (below), haven’t yet registered that South Africa exists ………

They’re also complaining that the “BBC’s Jon Donnison Displays a Professional and Ethical Conflict of Interests”, which roughly translates as he didn’t blame Hamas for the conflict, in line with the obvious hasbara drive that accompanied the war.

Their complaint about the BBC would probably be met with a snort of derision by Craig Murray who was so enraged by the BBC coverage that he renamed them “Beyond Belief Cunts”.

… I have just seen forty minutes of intense and non-stop Israeli propaganda. A live press conference by Netanyahu and Ehud Barak followed by a long, long interview with Mark Regev in which the most searching BBC question could fairly be paraphrased as “How can you be certain that those dastardly Palestinians will not break the ceasefire and start firing rockets again?”
No attempt whatsoever to give a Palestinian a chance to put over their viewpoint. Now fifty minutes of solid coverage around the ceasefire without a single Palestinian view or pro-Palestinian or pro-peace view. And in that entire fifty minutes not one mention of Palestinian dead.

One can only wondered if a light went off in his head as he wrote that, as in his previous post he wondered:

Why the world puts up with this blatant ethnic cleansing and prolonged, agonizing genocide of the Palestinain people, I have no idea.

The ‘Veto House’ that Zapiro draws attention to, is part of the explanation. But I reckon the attempts by the algemeiner to smear Latuff, Steve Bell and Jon Donnison , and the emergence of the social media unit of the IDF, point at another Israeli Occupied Territory – and that is the discourse about the whole issue.

And we were reminded during the conflict that retaliation against those who diverge from the hasbara path can include physical attacks.

But it seems that along with losing the conflict in Gaza, the Israelis are also taking hits in the media war. In the video below, RT journalist, Abby Martin, makes a clear response to the attacks on her and RT:

Quelle suprise that her critics were also based at “the fastest growing Jewish newspaper in America”. But it isn’t just Jewish organs that throw the accusation around – sometimes they are even on the receiving end of it.

An Ali Abunimah acolyte, Asa Winstanley accused the Jewish Chronicle of anti-Semitism, after they published an article under the headline (later changed) “Unanimous UK Jewish community support for Israel”. Fellow blogger, AZZ* Mark Elf echoed the claim. Yet it seems that in this case only AZZ’s and their friends could detect the anti-Semitism, which further suggests that the claim is often motivated by ideological bias, rather than on the basis that it a reaction to racism against all Jews. Surely most readers of the JC would recognise true Jew hatred when they saw it?

There can be no doubt that the relentless accusations do cause some people to shut-up, and there are other ways in which the discourse remains Zionist dominated. A recent Ikhras article noted:

To our knowledge, during the entire eight days of Israeli air, sea, and land bombardment of Gaza not a single authentic Palestinian-American voice or any neutral, objective expert on the Arab world was invited to appear or write in mainstream television or print media. Instead what we watched was a parade of pseudo-analysts, Arab Zionists, anti-Palestinian ideologues, self-appointed spokespersons of all stripes, and even a couple of comedians. All of them, without exception, were invited to parrot the Israel narrative, or at best, offer polite criticism of Israel in the name of Palestinians and Arab or Muslim Americans.

It is frustrating and soul-destroying to see the Palestinians come under attack again and again, whilst Israel and a myriad of Jewish groups and publications around the world attack the critics in an attempt to retain control of the discourse. And yet Israel is taking hits, the hasbara is being rejected by an increasing of number of ordinary people, and many websites, of which deLiberation is proud to be one, are dedicating time and energy to liberating the discourse.

It’s a move that hasn’t gone well with many activists. Witness expulsions from the Palestine ‘Solidarity’ campaign, and the Call for disavowal from Gilad Atzmon.

Whilst those ‘solidarity’ activists who are obsessed with anti-semitism withdraw into their activist shtetl’s, allowing the Zionists and AZZ’s to dictate who is kosher, and who is not, others of us have not forgotten that the primary focus needs to remain on Palestine and the injustice being perpetrated on the Palestinians. We will not be deterred from examining the way the discourse is being controlled, nor who is doing the controlling.

It is Zionists who are part of a genocidal, RACIST programme, and the claims that the anti-racists who oppose them are the actual racists rings increasingly hollow.

The name-calling will not stop us, any more than the bombing of buildings where journalists are based will stop journalists with integrity from presenting the truths that the Zionists and their mates work so hard to obscure. Any more than the barbarous Israeli attacks will stop resistance from Palestinians and others in the Middle East.

War on Gaza: Winners and Losers

    November 24, 2012

Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamel Amr announced on Wednesday that a truce had been agreed between “Israel” and the Palestinian Resistance..

“It will come into effect at nine Cairo time, 1900 GMT,” Amr said during a joint press conference with his US counterpart Hillary Clinton.

In parallel, he stressed that “these efforts … have resulted in understandings to cease fire and restore calm and halt the bloodshed that the last period has seen.”

    For her part, Clinton said:

“The United States welcomes the agreement today for a ceasefire. In the days ahead, the United States will work with partners in the region to consolidate this progress.”

Hours after a blast rocked the Zionist entity’s capital, Tel Aviv near the War ministry, “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office claimed he was prepared to give truce a chance.

“A short while ago Netanyahu spoke with US President Barack Obama and agreed to his recommendation to give a chance to an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire and thereby give an opportunity for the stabilization of the situation and a calming of it,” said a statement.
Moreover, the White House reiterated that “Israel” maintains the right to defend itself.”

According to the Egyptian distributed text: “Israel” shall stop all hostilities in the Gaza Strip land sea and air, including incursions and targeting of individuals.

Moreover, all Palestinian factions shall stop all operations from the Gaza Strip against “Israel”, including rocket attacks and all attacks along the border.

Opening the crossings and facilitating the movement of people and transfer of goods and refraining from restricting residents’ free movements and targeting residents in border areas……
Gaza after the Pillar of Cloud will not be the same Gaza before.

According to Anis Naqash, whether ceasefire came into effect or not, the Palestinian rockets that fell on Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, has changed a lot of equations and post-war situation in Gaza can’t be restored to what it was before the recent aggression.

According to AnisNaqash,  of «Aman net for Strategic Studies» the consequences of the offensive on Gaza can be devided into two parts.

The military part confirmed the failure of the «Iron Dome»  system which in turn led to the downfall of the theory of Israeli deterrence for missiles, and thus Palestine became the under the fire of the missiles of resistance camp and the lack of the enimy’s ability to engage into a ground war, means inability to achieve strategic objectives because of the high cost to be incurred.

The second part, according to Anis, is the political implications regarding the timing and the conditions of the ceasefire and the behavior of the resistance parties in terms of  political orientation and alliances with Arab, regional and global powers.

The Israeli enemy avoided engagement in a ground war because of its heavy cost, while the decision of the resistance in Lebanon was clear: it is not allowed to break the resistance axis, as long as the resistance in Gaza is not in danger, the role of the Lebanese resistance is limited to the political and moral support, but in case the Palestinian resistance became in danger, then all possibilities remain open.

According to Anis, Hezbollah holds the decision to open the Lebanese frontwhile Syria, Iran and «Hezbollah» holds the decision to open Syrian front.  Despite the change of the Egyptian regime», no move is expected on the Egyptian front.  Nevertheless there is a parallel Egyptian front composed of several local and non-local organizations and local non-working to provide support to Gaza with all possibilities, and has already carried out on the border in the Sinai.

The war on caza exposed the Puppet Leaders arming the syrian opposition while on the other hand never dared to send a single bullet to Palestinian resistance…

Naqash expects Doha, after the ceasefire, would invest in the reconstruction of Gaza because a lot of prosperity weaken the resistance. He gives as example how PA transformed former freedom fighters into an army of staff waiting pensions from European countries.

Personally I agree with Anis, it happened in Lebanon, when Arafat used the Gulf petro dollar to corrupt the people and devide his opponents, mainly PFLP.

Professor Hilal Khashan, a political science professor at the American University in Beirut, has a different opinion.

In his assessment of the role of the resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah can not open the northern front due internal difference, besides it will not change the reality on the ground in Gaza.

Hezbollah can help Gaza with weapons and expertise wihout engagement in a battle. But Khashan agrees that ground war was not on the table because of the issue of human losses, and the American veto the U.S. to such an option.

But according to great cartonist Latuff, as illustrated by his Carton posted below, Obama is voting to Bibi

Khashan believes that the Gaza war was an «ambush» set by Obama to Netanyahu (failure to resolve battle through the ground war option wild would be a major political failure for Netanyahu).

Arab Red cresenct known as Arab League
    Turkish crocodile tears
According to Khashan the Arab officials visits to Gaza during war was sponsored and their safety was guarateed by U.S., otherwise Israel would have bombed them.

Concerning the role of Egypt supporting the Palestinians, Khashan believes that Cairo despite the change of the regime can’t afford neither confront, nor disappoint America. It is insane to expect that Egypt may cancel the Camp David agreement, or may support Gaza militarily, this would be a political suicide for Egypt to get out of bilateral agreements and U.S. aid.

Khashan asserts that «Iran is a major player in the battle of Gaza, Fajr missile was the star of thr war that changed equations drawing the attention that Israel can’t hit Tahran and Iranian capabilities have not yet been tested and Israel would not dare to test them because they don’t know their extent. Israel does not know much about Iran. There is a lack of information Israel has been unable to renew its spies there.  This applies to Lebanon, Khashan says in response to a question about the possibility of a future war against Lebanon: If in Gaza Israel has failed, how will it succeed in Lebanon?
Brigadier General Elias Hanna, a retired strategic military, said: Israeli now put itself in big trouble. On the one hand, wars can’t be won by air force as evidenced by historical experiences. On the other hand, Israel can not allow the Palestinian resistance to possess long-range missile capabilities threatening the national security of the Zionist entity, and the ground war means street war, and this in turn means a long war of attrition.

Hanna excludes openning any other, because Israel drowned in Gaza, proved that Israel is unable to fight a future war, including war with Iran. Hanna also excludes Hezbollah’s engagement in war, because of the local and regional complexities. He says «as long as Israel is stuck in Gaza why to get involved. He expects the party would only prepare and monitor the situation ony forehead Gaza first and Syria second.

Hanna explains that the biggest losers from the results of the battle of Gaza will be the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas, because he will be just a figurehead in the long run and because Gaza has the combat capability and actual negotiating ability.

Hanna shown pessimism of the future of the Palestinian situation, being subject to marginal deterioration and further divisions. Palestinians are facing the dilemma of fact, if they seek peace, they get a quasi-state. In case of continued resistance, they may not be able to realise the dreamed state. And therefore they face the equation loser loser.

As for Egypt, it is both the most embarrassing and influential. Egypt is unable to cancel the Camp David Accords, and can not put pressure on Hamas so as not to repeat the experience of the regime of Hosni Mubarak with Gaza.

Hanna concludes that «Iran will be the biggest gainer of any future scenario. They invest little in Gaza weapons and material support, but in return they get a lot, a lot.

Personally, I believe, the  Blue Sky operation trigered by the assassination of Martyre Jaabari, provided a door for Hamas leadership to retun to resistance camp, but with Clinton confirming that the Truce Agreement enhances the USIsraeli-Egyptian partnership in promoting the Camp David Accords“!! and with Mishaal hijacking the Freedom fighter’s victory, and stressing on his differnces with Iran on Syria, I will not be surprised to see a Hamas-Lahd army in Gaza.

    “Almost Worse Than Anti-Semitic ”

    November 21, 2012

    by Roy Bard
    Tuesday, November 20th, 2012

Carlos Latuff the Brazilian cartoonist appears to have reached new heights in his career, after Marvin_Hier, twice named “most influential Rabbi in America” by Newsweek, branded one of his cartoons “almost worse than anti-Semitic”.

    According to The Algemeiner :

“An anti-Semitic cartoon can be recognized by the reader as such,” Hier explained, “But a cartoon where he attempts to show that Netanyahu started this (Israel’s current Pillar of Defense operation) for votes. It is almost worse than an anti-Semitic cartoon comparing Israelis to Nazis. It is an outrageous lie.”

It isn’t immediately apparent how suggesting that one man’s cynical ploy for power is a slur on all Jews. Furthermore, how the “almost worse than” label can help us to understand what he is trying to say is unclear, but one thing is for sure, Latuff is not alone in believing that the current murderous assault on Palestinians is motivated by electoral considerations on Netanyahu’s part. In fact a list of Israeli offensives and election dates is currently doing the rounds on Twitter.

Latuff is however determined to press on, regardless. His response so far has included a second cartoon, starring the Rabbi:

and a tweet which suggests that his cartoons will continue to upset the waa-waa Wabbi for years to come.

Whether the Huffingtom Post will have the guts to stand up to the petulant holy man remains to be seen.

Yet another attempt to stifle debate and shut down criticism. Yawn…..

If only Marv and his tribe could find it in themselves to get as upset over the slaughtered babies, there might be no need for such cartoons in the future.

Targeted By Zionists Carlos Latuff Responds: “Such campaigns won’t intimidate me”

    March 6, 2012
    March 6, 2012
[Ikhras Note: Once again the world-renowned cartoonist and artist of conscience Carlos Latuff is subjected to a vicious Zionist smear campaign. Support our Brazilian brother and comrade. Read his response reproduced below and help distribute widely.]

    By Carlos Latuff

Nothing new under the sun – More lies spread by the #Israel lobby Inc.

In recent days, pro-Israel blogs have been published articles accusing me (guess what) of being a Holocaust denier. This happened because in 2006 I participated in the Holocaust Cartoon Contest that had been set up by the House of Cartoon in Tehran. This contest was a response to the Prophet Mohammed cartoons that had been published by the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten and was intended to test the Western limits of the freedom of speech. This new smear campaign was launched by Zionist bloggers due to some cartoons I had made for the activist group Code Pink for use in theOccupy AIPAC protests. It was intended to pressure the group into not using the artworks which were made by me, a so-called “Holocaust denier”.

They say, among other things, that I am a Holocaust denier, but fail to prove their point. In the article, reproduced ad nauseam by them, there is not one article, opinion or cartoon made by me where I deny the existence of the Nazi Holocaust. It’s because I have never made such cartoons. These bloggers are trying to apply the old “a lie repeated many times over becomes a truth” tactic.

Regarding the Holocaust Cartoon Contest, here are the three cartoons I submitted:
With this one I won 2nd place in the contest:

In the first two cartoons, I deal with the red lines of Western freedom of speech. Drawing derogative cartoons about Islam or the Prophet Mohammed is seen as freedom of speech, the same can’t be appplied when dealing with the Holocaust.

The third cartoon shows a Palestinian wearing a Nazi concentration camp uniform, surrounded by an Israeli “security fence”. Actually it has nothing to do with denial. On the contrary, this cartoon affirms the existence of the Holocaust and compares the treatment given to Palestinians by Israel with the treatment given to the Jews by Nazi Germany. I challenge anyone anywhere to show me a single cartoon, article or opinion by me that denies the Holocaust.

This incident is, in fact, another chapter in a long term campaign against me by the same groups and individuals siding with Israel and its criminal policies. They know the effectiveness of political cartooning in exposing Israel’s human rights violations against Palestinians. Since they can’t censor all the progressive blogs, websites, and social platforms, which reproduce my artworks freely, they try hard to attach labels such as “anti-Semite” and “Holocaust denier” in order to discredit and attempt to criminalize my views in the public eye.

Such campaigns won’t intimidate me. I will continue to stand up for the rights of Palestinians and I will continue to put my art at their service.

    Israel (AIPAC) conference on Iran

    March 1, 2012
On the weekend, both Israeli prime minister Benj Netanyahu and president Shimon Peres are arriving in Washington to address the annual Israeli Lobby (AIPAC) Policy Conference (March 4-6, 2012). According to Israeli officials and Israel-Firsters in Obama administration, both Jewish warmongers are to urge the 13,000 invited guests to increase their anti-Iran rhetoric.

Barack Obama, who will be one of the keynote speakers, has officially invited Benji to meet him at the White House. According to government sources in Tel Aviv and Washington – Benji is going to push Obama to take a public stand in favor of military strike in the event that “Iran crosses certain red lines (nuclear capability)”. They see a serious lack of trust between Israel and the US with regard to immediate military strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and the ‘disputed’ military installations.

Some of the American leaders who lost their credibility for speaking against AIPAC include Rep. Paul Findley, Rep. Cynthia McKinney, Rep. Ron Paul, former US president Jimmy Carter, Sen. Robert Byrd, Dr. Ziad Asali, Rabbi Michael Lerner, Charles Reese and Pat Buchanan. Last month, Cynthia McKinney was interviewed by Gary S. Corseri. In the interview, Cynthia says that 9/11 was an inside job; she was kidnapped by Israeli soldiers in international waters and put in jail without a trail, the attack on Libya was an attack on Africa – and what we have been seeing is the Israelization of US policy.

Carlos Latuff shows how AIPAC is Obama’s strings to attack the Islamic Republic. See the cartoons here and here. To know the history on AIPAC, watch a video below.

While the Zionist-controlled mainstream media is predicting Benji’s success in Obama’s public statement on a united US-Israel military action against the Islamic Republic – US group of 100 organizations, Occupy AIPAC, is appealing American citizen to join them in protests (March 2-6) in Washington DC before and during AIPAC conference to show that Americans refuse to die in the Middle East in Israeli wars.

The Occupy AIPAC is planning a policy summit with panels on “Iran: Road to Diplomacy“, the Arab uprisings, Palestine/Israel and AIPAC, film screenings, mass protests, a teach-in on diplomacy and alternatives to war, creative actions, a cultural night, workshops, and a Capitol Hill policy briefing on the impact of US military aid to Israel on Palestinians.

It’s not anti-Semitism to say that AIPAC functions as subsidiary of Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mossad and not a Jewish charity.
